Welcome to Ummati Driving School. By enrolling in our driving lessons and using our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully, as they outline your rights and obligations while using our services.

1. General Information

1.1. These terms and conditions apply to all driving lessons, courses, and services provided by Ummati Driving School.
1.2. By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1.3. Ummati Driving School reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the client to review these terms regularly.

2. Eligibility

2.1. All learners must hold a valid learner’s permit or driver’s license before beginning lessons with Ummati Driving School.
2.2. It is the responsibility of the learner to ensure that their permit or license is up to date and valid throughout the duration of their lessons.
2.3. Learners must be physically and mentally fit to operate a vehicle, and any medical conditions that may affect driving must be disclosed prior to starting lessons.

3. Booking & Payment

3.1. Lesson bookings must be made in advance, and confirmation will be sent upon successful scheduling.
3.2. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged with Ummati Driving School.
3.3. Payment can be made through cash, credit card, or other approved payment methods.
3.4. Lesson prices are subject to change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed-upon rate.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

4.1. If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, we require at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid cancellation fees.
4.2. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson will result in a charge equivalent to the full lesson fee.
4.3. Ummati Driving School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to instructor availability, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will provide as much notice as possible.

5. Instructor Responsibilities

5.1. Our instructors are certified professionals, committed to providing high-quality instruction.
5.2. Instructors will conduct lessons in a safe and structured environment, ensuring that learners receive the best possible driving education.
5.3. Instructors reserve the right to terminate a lesson if they feel that the learner is unfit to drive or behaving recklessly. No refunds will be issued for terminated lessons under such circumstances.

6. Learner Responsibilities

6.1. Learners are expected to arrive on time for their lessons. Lateness may result in a shortened session, as we must adhere to scheduled lesson times.
6.2. Learners must bring their valid learner’s permit or driver’s license to every lesson.
6.3. Learners are responsible for wearing appropriate footwear and clothing to ensure safe driving.
6.4. During lessons, learners must follow all instructions provided by the instructor and adhere to road safety laws and regulations.

7. Driving Tests

7.1. Ummati Driving School can assist learners with preparing for their driving test, but the school cannot guarantee a successful outcome.
7.2. We offer vehicle rental for driving tests, but availability must be confirmed in advance.
7.3. It is the learner’s responsibility to book their driving test with the appropriate licensing authority.

8. Liability

8.1. Ummati Driving School is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during lessons unless it is due to the negligence of the instructor.
8.2. Learners agree to use our vehicles and services at their own risk and are responsible for their own personal belongings during lessons.
8.3. In the event of an accident or incident during a lesson, the instructor will assess the situation, and appropriate steps will be taken to ensure safety and resolution.

9. Privacy Policy

9.1. Ummati Driving School respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
9.2. Any personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

10. Termination of Services

10.1. Ummati Driving School reserves the right to terminate services if a learner fails to adhere to these terms and conditions, engages in unsafe driving practices, or exhibits inappropriate behavior toward instructors or staff.
10.2. Refunds will not be provided in the event of service termination due to a learner’s violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

11.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada.
11.2. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Toronto, Ontario.
